I just got back from attending my first ADZPCTKO in San Diego. Otherwise know as "The Kick Off"

What a amazing event put on for PCT thur-hikers!

It was great making new friends and finally meeting the actual PCT thru-hikers who's trail journals I have been reading for the past few years.

As promised at the kick off, I will offer the plans to build your own ultralight external frame for FREE. It's my way of showing my appreciation to everybody who made me feel welcomed at the kick off and part of the PCT thru-hiker community.

Please allow me enough time to tweak the design and some up with some plans.

During my Solo SOBO JMT thru hike August 29 to September
12th, I tested the final design of the 2006 SierraShade.

I plan to extend the brim a additional 2 inches and reduce the height by 2 inches. I tested a new material for the connectors with worked perfectly. Now it's back to the shop for the next few months to make those improvements.
